Software QA Tester with Award Winning Regional Insurance Company.  .NET Shop.  Salary $65k -$75k + Annual Bonus + 100% paid full family benefits.

Our client, one of the most successful Insurance companies in the Baltimore area, has a need for a Software QA Tester who has the interest and technical aptitude to shift into an Automation testing model in the very near future.   This thriving company, with a rich investment in internal software development efforts runs a mostly Manual Testing environment at this point but are hoping to push toward move of a Automated model by the end of the year.   In this role all the usual manual testing duties will be part of the day to day job tasks.  But as you begin to apply some of the Automated Testing strategies you've worked with, or were educated about in the past, you will design, write, and implemented automated testing scripts, participate in software testing working with nUnit, SQL, Selenium, or similar.  You will join a top notch team of roughly 20 Technologists who support a all manner of internal business system functions at this 150 person company.  

Our client provides a wide range of Insurance Products to the insurance industry and is known as one of the most cutting edge insurance firms around.  They have a history of stellar employee tenure, award winning culture, for example they still fully pay 100% of an employee benefits for their entire family.  

For this Software QA Tester role role, they are seeking an analytical problem solver with roughly 4 years of Software Testing experience, with roughly 1 years of Automation exposure either through direct practice or educational self study.  Experience within an Agile/Scrum environment is helpful, working with nUnit (or similar) as well as SQL, HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON.  Exposure to functional, load, regressions testing on both web and backend API applications.  While you don't need to come into this Manual Testing team with heavy Automation experience, you will be the first internal Automation tester at the firm within the next year, so a dedication to pushing into the real of an Automation Testing environment has to be a clear and exciting focus for you ongoing.  

The compensation range is between $65,000 - $75,000 plus an annual bonus pool that the company has never missed in 30+ years, plus fully paid family healthcare.
