Service Manager - B2B Textile and Uniforms - Base to $95k plus bonus - Los Angeles, CA
Our client, a strong and stable Los Angeles based service organization that has been serving the business community in Southern California for over 50 years, has an immediate need for a Service Manager. This is a fantastic local company to work for, with a strong history of success and an excellent reputation. As this is not a big corporate environment, you will be a key player in a well run local company…not just a number in a giant corporation.
- The Service Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 3 Supervisors and roughly 20 Route Associates that make up the company’s service team.
- The Service Manager will be responsible for helping company attain specific growth and profit levels; staff training; working to maximize service agreement renewals; building strong relationships with VIP customers and key accounts; and overall management of the service team.
- In addition to making sure the client base is happy and serviced well, there is also a strong sales element to this role in that you will be involved in working with the sales team to insure accounts are renewed as contracts are expiring.
- The candidate in this position will forge and grow strong relationships with the client base through the service side to aid in the sales process when the time comes for renewals.
Requirements for this position include 3 or more years of direct customer relations experience; strong leadership skills; a good understanding of managing a departmental budget and understanding how to read various P&L reports; good negotiation skills; and client relationship building skills.
Compensation will include a strong base salary in the $75k-$95k range, depending on experience as well as an excellent bonus package that add an additional $10k-$15k plus full benefits including car allowance, gas card, profit sharing, vacation, cell phone, tablet and more!
