Service Maintenance Sales Representative - Mechanical Contractor in Nashville, TN, 30 Year Old Company. Base to $65k + Commission, Growing Company

  • Our client, a stable, fast-growing mechanical contractor, has an immediate need for a Service Maintenance Sales Representative, to handle a territory out of the Nashville, TN area.  Our client has been in business for over 30 years and has a stellar reputation in the industry.  They are a continually growing company, and they are looking to add a rep in Nashville metro to help them take this division to new heights. The Nashville team operates as a tight-knit group, always willing to help each other out, and are looking for someone who operates from a “customer first” mentality in order to fit into this culture.
  • In this position, the Service Sales Rep will be responsible for new business generation and hunting for new customers, as well as handling renewals on service agreements.  This rep will also be responsible for growing the existing customer base via contracting preventative maintenance services. The SSR will work closely with, and answer directly to, the company’s General Manager in developing and implementing new growth strategies.  They will sell to facility owners, maintenance managers and engineers.  Additionally, there is potential for growth into a leadership role for the right candidate.

Compensation:  Our client is offering a solid compensation package for this position, with a base salary ranging from $50-65K and an uncapped bonus/commission structure that should put you in the six figure range first year.  The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, 401k, PTO and much more.  Additionally, there are other perks tied to company culture that make it a plus to work for this family-owned business!

Requirements:  The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of proven outside sales success, preferably with experience in HVAC or selling a service.  The candidate should be independent, self-motivated, and driven to take complete ownership over their role.  They should possess strong CRM experience and exceptional customer service skills.
