Sales Manager - East Coast - Rapidly Growing Manufacturer, Abrasives - Base to $90k, Total Comp $100k
- Our client, a growing and expanding manufacturer of industrial abrasive products, has an immediate need for a skilled Sales Manager to lead all sales efforts on the East Coast. In this role, the person will be based in Ohio, and handle the territory that includes Maine to Florida. The company will also consider a candidate that needs to relocate to Ohio.
- As the Sales Manager with this company, you will work to prospect and grow new business in this large multi-state territory that will include much of the East Coast, from Maine through Florida, and really everything east of the Mississippi expect for IN, OH, MI and KY. As the Regional Sales Manager, you will also manage a group of Company and Manufacturers Reps in this territory, with the goal of continuing to grow the team of Direct Sales Reps as well.
- This territory has a strong base of current customers, so this person will take over an existing base of business and help guide their sales team to grow deeper relationships with this customer base. The customer base will include everything from large Fortune 500 based companies down to small companies and start-ups. The sales channels will include the end user and distributor levels. Additionally, the company will provide excellent training along with all the tools and support that you will need to be a success in this role.
Compensation in this role includes a base salary in the $85k-$90k range. On top of the base salary is a annual bonus program that will take you over the $100k annual income level. There is also a small discretionary bonus program and profit sharing plan. The benefits are solid and will include medical, dental, vision, 401k, company cell phone, laptop, car allowance, travel allowance and more.
Requirements for this position include a background of sales success within the industrial sales world, and at least a couple years of industry experience within the abrasives sector. Should also have experience working for a distributor. Candidate must also have at least 3 years of sales management experience, leading an industrial sales team. Candidate must be located in Ohio, or be open to immediate relocation to Ohio.
