  • For more than 75 years, our client has proudly served the business community nationally, providing a variety of corporate workspace solutions. They currently have an immediate need for a skilled Sales Manager for their Central and West Coast Region.  In this role, the Sales Manager will lead a team that is responsible for selling workplace solutions to companies of all sizes within their assigned region.  The Sales Manager will report directly to the Regional Director for the West.  This is a newly created position due to company growth and expansion.
  • The ideal home location for this role will be Dallas, TX, with the ability to travel throughout the region, and to the various branch locations to work locally with field sales staff.
  • As a summary, the Sales Manager will lead a team of 5 Territory Sales Reps that sell various workplace solutions including corporate office moves and relocations to storage options, commercial office furniture and more.  The Sales Manager will handle hiring and retention, training, motivating and leadership of the team.  This will include planning and executing market strategy, setting and monitoring sales team goals and pipelines, planning effective sales meetings and one on one training sessions, ensuring effective use of the company’s sales CRM system, shadowing staff in the field to ensure effective sales presentation and customer support, and more.  This is a true sales leadership role.

Compensation in this role will be a base salary in the $80k-$90k range, with some flexibility to go higher for the ideal candidate.  On top of this base salary will be a generous annual bonus program.  On top of this, the company provides a cell phone, laptop, a monthly car and travel allowance as well as a monthly gas allowance. Qualifications for this role include documented sales success in a business to business sales role, along with at least 2 years of sales leadership experience.  The client is flexible on the industry background, but ideally the candidate comes from the logistics or facilities service industry, or something similar or relatable.  A Bachelors Degree is preferred though not required.  Candidate should also be available to travel to other branch locations to work locally with their sales team.  Travel may be up to 50%.
