Sales Management Trainee Representative - Industrial Products - Base to 40k - Houston, TX

  • Our client, one of the largest privately-owned industrial product distributors in the country, has an immediate need for a skilled Sales and Management Trainee for their Houston, TX branch location.  This company is very much of an industry leader, offering a fantastic opportunity to grow a lucrative career in sales and management with them.
  • In this role, our client is offering a clear and well-defined career advancement opportunity.  You will come into the company in this Sales & Management Trainee role.  This is a multi-year developmental role, where you will start in operations, move to inside sales, all the while being exposed to all aspects of how the business runs.  By developing strong sales and operations skills, you will ultimately graduate out of the Trainee program and be assigned some type of sales/operations leadership role.  Along the way you will work in shipping, receiving, inside sales, outside sales, account management, inventory, special projects assignment by leadership and more.  
  • This is a fully involved career development role, that has a strong focus toward sales.  Most of the key leaders of this organization started in the company through this Trainee program.  It is an excellent way to build your career.  Through each stage of the process your income will grow and advance, as you have more and more success.

Compensation in this role will include a starting base salary in the $37,000 - $40,000 range.  On top of this base salary is a strong bonus plan that should put your first-year income in the $50,000 - $60,000 range.  The package will also include a comprehensive benefits package that will include healthcare, 401k, generous paid time off and more.

Requirements in this role include a Bachelors Degree along with a strong desire to grow within an inside sales based role, and ultimately into a sales or operations based management career.  Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, though not required.
