Sales Engineer - Automation & Combustion Solutions - Kansas City and Western Missouri - Remote Office - Base Salary to $125K plus Bonus, Benefits, Car Allowance, Disability, 401k

  • Our client, a leader in their field that specializes in selling automation and combustion solutions to the industrial market, has an immediate need for a Sales Engineer in the Kansas City MO area. They have excelled in their field for over 60 years and are growing.
  • In this role, the Sales Engineer will take over an existing territory and focus on account management, while also prospecting for new business.  The Sales Engineer will be supported by a 24-hour Field Service team.
  • The territory will include Kansas City and Western Missouri.  There is some flexibility on home location in the region. Travel will be 10-25% overnight with daytime travel of 80%.

Compensation in this position will include a starting base salary in the $80-125k range, plus incentive/bonus program adding an additional 15%.  The package will also include excellent benefits, car allowance, travel and business expenses and more.           

Requirements for this position include at least 2 years of successful technical sales experience, selling to the industrial market.  A Bachelor Degree in a Technical or Engineering field is required, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or similar field of study.  Candidate must be willing and able to travel as needed for business.
