Regional Sales Rep with High End Building Product Firm in Architectural & Design Market. Entire Northeast US Market Territory. Strong Base + Comm to $100k.
Our client, a producer of extremely high quality architectural woodwork and interior products, has an immediate need for a highly skilled Regional Sales Rep to help the company’s expansion efforts throughout the Northeast Region.
This is a fantastic organization, a mid-sized privately held growing company with a 40-year history of designing, engineering, manufacturing and installing some of the highest quality, handcrafted interior woodwork in the industry. This is a very high-end product line, well known in architectural and design industry. The company has multiple locations throughout the United States. Capitalizing on their continued success, the company is in an aggressive expansion mode, and looking for a talented sales professional to help them achieve their goals.
In the role, the Regional Sales Rep will be responsible for helping to expand this highly successful company’s high-end product line into new markets throughout the Northeast. As the product line will focus on premier architectural woodwork products, the target market will be selling to architects, designers, builders and general contractors. The Regional Sales Rep will have a strong focus on new business prospecting in the field, establishing new relationships, managing and growing these accounts and closing business for the company. The person in this role should be comfortable with regular travel throughout the region. This position is a remote, field based role where you will be working out of your home. Because of this, the candidate can be home based anywhere within a major metropolitan area within the Northeast US. This is a very exciting role for someone that enjoys helping a business grow and expand. Requirements for this position include at least 3 years of successful sales experience selling a high-end building product such as windows, doors, mouldings, millwork, flooring or any interior finish product. The ideal candidate will have experience in representing an elite building and architectural product, selling to the architectural, design and builder market.
Compensation for this position will include a strong base salary plus uncapped commission package. The starting base salary will be flexible depending upon experience. On top of this, the company offers a car allowance, cell phone, travel and client entertainment expenses, 401k and full healthcare benefits. This role will take a successful sales rep over $100k in annual income.
