Regional Sales Manager with Expanding International Construction Tool Manufacturer in Seattle, WA. Base to $80k, Total Comp $100k+, Company Car, Amazing Benefits.

Our client, a rapidly expanding manufacturer of a line of construction rolls, has an immediate need for a skilled Regional Sales Manager to help expand their market share in the Seattle, WA market.  This position is open due to growth.  While the company already does business in their region, they are looking for a skilled sales professional and relationship builder to help their growth and expanding in the Pacific Northwest.  This is a fantastic company and a wonderful opportunity for both career and financial growth.

In this position, the Regional Sales Manager will be based out of Seattle and handle Seattle and the surrounding market.  This role focused on selling a commercial and consumer construction product line in to the dealer market, as well as helping the dealer sell product to the end user customers.  While this person will focus on growing relationships with existing customers, they will also focus on growing the dealer network by targeting and prospecting new accounts.  They will advise the dealers on keeping proper levels of stock, and how to position that product for their customers.  They will provide fantastic service after the sale and promptly respond to all customers as needed.  They will help customers set up their showrooms, they will help with and set up product demo days, and they will serve as a product expert on the products that they represent.  In addition, they will attend product seminars, training events, company sales meetings, trade shows and more. 

The compensation plan will include a starting base salary up to $80k for the ideal experience and background.  On top of this base salary is a strong quarterly commission plan that pays on both individual success as well as company performance.  The benefits are solid as well and include mostly company paid medical and dental, company paid disability, dental and vision, life insurance, 401k with a company match, a company provided vehicle for both business and personal use privileges, cell phone, laptop, paid time off and more.

Requirements for the role include at least 3 strong years of sales success doing wholesale selling to distributors or big box retail chains.  Should have experience supporting deal product sales through dealer events and trade shows, along with hands on product training.  An ideal background would be selling power tools or a related product.  A Bachelors Degree is preferred, but not required.
