Regional Sales Manager - Commercial Construction / Roofing Product Manufacturer - Base to $125k, Lucrative Bonus, Car, Benefits

  • Our client, a strong and well-established commercial roofing product manufacturer, has an immediate need for a skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead a team of independent sales reps all over Texas.  This position will be physically based out of the Dallas, TX area.  This position will report directly to the Regional VP.
  • As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be taking over leadership of a very well-established region.  As part of your team, you will also manager the company’s number one producing sales rep.  You will be responsible for assisting a sales team that features both independent and direct sales reps, and sales support staff, within the territory.  You will build sales plan and strategies, and travel with your team to train and call on large corporate clients.  You will be fully responsible for the sales revenue, sales team development and company’s growth in Texas.  This is a true leadership position.

Compensation in this position will include a base salary in the $100k-$125k range, depending upon experience.  In addition, the package will include a bonus in the 20% range, a company car, laptop and cell phone.  The benefits are excellent and will include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k with a company match, paid vacation, holiday pay, profit sharing program, and more.

Requirements for the position include at least 4 years of sales management experience, ideally leading a team of independent sales reps, along with a strong background in commercial roofing / commercial construction.  A bachelor’s degree if preferred, though not required.  Candidate should be able to travel throughout the state of Texas.
