Regional Sales Engineer with 60 Year Old High Tech Industrial Product Manufacturer in Los Angeles, CA.  Base $100k+ plus Commission, Benefits. 

Our client, a leading provider of industrial equipment and services, has an immediate need for a skilled Sales Engineer to manage and grow an established territory in the South Bay and/or Inland Empire regions of Los Angeles, CA. This company has a 60-year history of providing industrial solutions to manufacturers in the Western United States.  They have an exceptional reputation and work with customers in the Food, Packaging, Medical, Aerospace, Oil/Gas, Beverage, Transportation, and Manufacturing industries.

In this role, the Sales Engineer will be involved in both driving new business and managing an existing account base.  The Sales Engineer will develop and propose custom technical solutions and form true partnerships by working with customers and internal resources to solve the customer’s manufacturing challenges.  In addition to selling industrial equipment and solutions, the Sales Engineer will provide full technical support after the sale. 

Compensation will include a strong base salary in the $100k range, plus a lucrative commission package.  The company also provides a car allowance, cell phone, laptop and business expenses paid.  The rest of the benefits will include a 401k with company match, generous paid time off, health and dental insurance, and more.  Total compensation of $150k is well within reach for a high performer.

Requirements:  The ideal candidate for this role will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an Engineering discipline.  The candidate should have 3+ years of experience selling industrial products or solutions to OEMs, and a strong familiarity with Automation and Pneumatic systems.  The candidate should have a strong track record of generating new business while managing and growing an existing account base.
