Purchasing Manager - Industrial Product Distributor. Salary up to $85k + Incentives, Benefits. Cleveland, OH.

  • Our client, a leading distributor of fluid power, motion control, pneumatic, and hydraulic products, has an immediate need for an accomplished Purchasing Manager to be based out of their Dayton, OH headquarters.
  • Our client is an industry leader with a stellar reputation.  They have been in business for 70 years and provide top-of-the-line products, systems, and solutions for the industrial market. The company has an excellent culture, and leadership is focused on providing an enjoyable and productive work environment.
  • In this role, the Purchasing Manager will be responsible for company-wide purchasing and inventory control.  The Purchasing Manager will develop and execute effective purchasing strategies, and establish policies and procedures to ensure appropriate stock levels.  They will work closely with other departments and prepare quarterly inventory/purchasing reports to be presented to corporate leadership. Additionally, the Purchasing Manager will be responsible for the recruiting, hiring, training, and supervision of department staff.

Compensation will include a strong base salary up to $85k.  The company also offers full health insurance, 401k with company match, generous paid time off, and more.

Requirements:  The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and 3+ years of purchasing experience in distribution or manufacturing. The candidate should possess skills in leadership, management, purchasing, inventory control, vendor management, and reporting.
