Project Coordinator - Support Sales & Engineering Team - Industrial Equipment Provider. Salary to $45k. Indianapolis, IN.

  • Our client, a growing industrial and residential equipment company, has an immediate need for a Project Coordinator to support the Sales Department and report directly to the Sales Manager.  This person will work out of the company’s Indianapolis, IN area branch location.
  • In this role, the Project Coordinator will provide top notch customer service, while also supporting the sales and service teams through each project’s life-cycle.  The cycle being from pre-sale through installation. 
  • In this role, the Project Coordinator will apply their project management skills, sales skills, customer service skills and business process skills to manage the project life cycle for the industrial equipment that company sells and installs for their customers.  The support they will provide on these projects will include administrative, logistics, technical, and sales support to the Engineers, Project Managers and Sales Reps.  Monitor the project status with the various departments.  Help obtain pricing and create quotes for the Sales Team to review and prevent.  Be involved in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.  Assist with budget planning and tracking and provide input into the design and development of the project plans and timelines.  There are many other tasks involved in this role, and a full job description will be provided upon interest.

Compensation in this role will be a base salary in the $40k-$45k range plus an annual bonus that will push the total compensation up to around $50k.  On top of this, the company offers an excellent benefits program that will include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, paid holidays and more.

Requirements for this role include 5 years of customer service experience as well as an Associates or Bachelors Degree.  Some type of engineering degree or engineering focus is strongly preferred for this role.  Some understanding of gas or diesel engines and/or generators is a plus.  Candidate should have some basic experience reading AIA construction drawings and electrical drawings.  Must have excellent customer service skills.
