Outside Service Sales Representative - Mechanical Service - Mechanical Contractor in Washington, DC, 30 Year Old Company. Base to $80k + Commission, Growing Company.
- Our client, a stable, fast-growing mechanical contractor, has an immediate need for an Outside Service Sales Representative (internally titled "Sales Engineer"), to handle a territory out of the Washington, DC area. Our client has been in business for over 30 years and has a stellar reputation in the industry. They are a continually growing company, and they are looking to add a rep in the DC/VA/MD area to help them take this division to new heights. The Washington DC team operates as a tight-knit group, always willing to help each other out, and are looking for someone who operates from a “customer first” mentality in order to fit into this culture.
- In this position, the Service Sales Rep will be responsible for new business generation and hunting for new customers, as well as handling renewals on service agreements. The SSR will work closely with and answer directly to the company’s Sales Manager in developing and implementing new growth strategies. They will sell to facility owners, maintenance managers and engineers.
Compensation: Our client is offering a solid compensation package for this position, with a base salary ranging from $70-80K and an uncapped commission structure that should get you well into the six figures 1st year. Additionally, for top performers, there is a clear path for growth. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, 401k, PTO and much more. Requirements: The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of proven outside sales success, preferably with experience in HVAC or selling a service. The candidate should be independent, self-motivated, and driven to take complete ownership over their role. They should possess strong CRM experience and exceptional customer service skills.
