Outside Sales Representative - International Building Products Manufacturer - Base Salary up to $60k, to $80k with Commission

Our client, a rapidly growing international manufacturer of a composite decking material, has an immediate need for an Outside Sales Representative (internally titled "Territory Sales Representative") in the Pacific Northwest.  This is due to a growing market presence here in the US and the opportunity for more. The TSR will ideally be based in the Portland or Seattle markets and will cover Oregon and Washington. This opportunity offers tremendous growth potential as this position will be on the front lines of an expanding sales force in the US.

Responsibilities:  Create and develop relationships at the distribution and dealer level throughout the territory.  This position will call on establish sales contacts within the building product distributor market, working hands on to achieve sales goals, develop sales strategy and help to create plans to increase market share. The Territory Sales Representative will also attend networking events and shows.

Compensation:  This position will offer a starting base salary up to $60k, to $80k with commission.  On top of the base salary there will be a generous commission plan.  The company will also offer a solid benefits plan that will include healthcare, cell phone, laptop, car allowance, expense account and more.

Qualifications:  The ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree along with at least 3-10 years of experience selling in the building or construction products industry.  The ideal industry background would be someone that has experience selling composite decking or lumber to distributors.  Client would prefer a candidate that has building product distributor ties and contacts within the territory.
