Outside Sales Rep - Industrial Equipment, Material Handling - Newark, NJ - Base To $50k plus commission/bonus that will lead to $100K+ in Year 1, benefits, car allowance.
- Our client, a strong and stable industrial equipment and material handling product dealer has an immediate need for a skilled Outside Sales Representative (internally titled "Territory Sales Rep") to handle a well performing territory located in and around the Newark, NJ market.
- This company is strong and stable, they are very well known in the market and have built a strong base of customers. They represent some of the best industrial equipment and material handling product manufacturers in the industry. In addition, they have a strong inside support team that helps to provide top notch customer service and support to the customer base.
- In this Territory Sales Rep role, this Outside Sales based position will focus on selling premiere lines of industrial equipment and material handling products to an industrial client base in the region. This is both direct product sales as well as equipment rental sales. The contacts will be all things industrial and will include manufacturers, distribution centers, warehouses and more. This is very much of a solutions based sale, and a role that will combine both hunting for new business as well as managing accounts and growing deeper relationships with existing customers. This position will report to the Regional Sales Manager.
Compensation for this position includes a base salary of $50k plus a strong bonus and incentive plan that will lead to $100K+ in the first year. In addition, the benefits are solid and will include a car allowance, a laptop and cell phone, full health, dental and vision, a 401k plan and more.
Requirements for this position include a college degree along with at least 2 years of outside sales experience, selling to an industrial client base. The ideal candidate will have a documented track record of success.
