Outside Sales Rep - Industrial and Construction Products -  Up to 70K first year + Commission, Incentives, Benefits. Baltimore,MD.

  • Our client, a rapidly growing distributor of industrial, safety and construction products, has an immediate need for a skilled Outside Sales Professional to be based out of Baltimore, Maryland area. The Outside Sales Rep will call on mainly commercial contractors. This position is a true hunting role that focuses on finding and generating leads, then closing the business.
  • Our client is a quickly growing into a regional leader in this industry having doubled in size in the last 5 years.  They offer contractors top-of-the-line products from many of the industry’s leading manufacturers. 
  • In this role, the Outside Sales Representative will grow and manage key accounts throughout Baltimore metro and surrounding areas, while developing and maintaining relationships with new customers.  They will provide product information and recommendations, product support, and exceptional customer service.  They will work with current and potential customers to fill needs from the company’s vast product catalogue.

Compensation: The compensation plan for this role is set up as a draw with a first year guarantee up to $70k. There is also an uncapped commission plan. Most reps earn anywhere from $100k - $200k+!  The company also offers a cell phone plan, laptop, medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO and more.

Requirements:  The ideal candidate will possess an aggressive hunter mentality, . Experience selling in the construction or building materials verticals is preferred, though not required. Strong, driven personality is a must. The candidate should have a proven track record of sales success and be comfortable selling on a job site and in an office setting. MUST BE A CLOSER!
