Outside Sales Rep - Commercial HVAC Mechanical Systems - Service &  Maintenance - 75 Year Company - Base to 50k

  • Our client, a strong and well established business service company with over 75 years of serving the Eugene, OR marketplace, has a need for an outside Sales Rep to continue to expand the service offerings of the company.  The firm is a renowned expert in the maintenance and servicing of commercial HVAC mechanical systems.  The role will be a blend of new business development and existing business expansion/account management.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with long standing roots and reputation. 
  • The incoming Sales Rep will be able to learn and develop under the long time and successful team who historical earns a very strong income given the size and scope of the large scale mechanical HVAC systems in place.   In this role, the Sales Rep will be trained and developed to help build the company's revenues by selling their business services to potential businesses all over the region. This would include primarily large scale commercial accounts, with a strong focus in the industrial business sector. This position focuses on new business sales as there is a heavy focus on new business generation and hunting for new customers. The initial duties in this role will combine both inside and outside sales tasks, with the goal to ultimately grow into a full Outside, Territory Sales Rep role.
  • As far as growth, you will have the opportunity to grow in both responsibility and income significantly as you have success on the team. This company is not the typical stuffy corporate environment. This is a smaller, private, locally headquartered company.  You are not just one of hundreds of sales reps on a team. Instead, you will be a key player on a strong and well supported team. Thus, you should be a person that would prefer to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary in the $40k-$50k range plus a strong bonus and a very lucrative commission package that will easily take you to the $70k+ range in year one. The company also offers an excellent benefits package, car, cell phone, medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation and more. 

Requirements include several of outside sales experience preferably selling to a commercial/mechanical/industrial oriented client base, a competitive and aggressive personality, and a desire to grow a career in outside sales.
