Outside Sales. Construction Products. Sell to Property Managers in the Commercial sector. Base to $80k+high commission.  

Our client, a rapidly growing company that sells a construction based product to Property Managers in the commercial / multi-family space, has an immediate need for a skilled Commercial Sales Rep to be based out of the Boston, MA region.

The company is a fantastic privately owned company.  They are very successful and have been rapidly growing and expanding.  As they have been growing all over the East Coast, from New England down through the Mid Atlantic, the growth prospects for your career and earning potential are fantastic.

In this role, the sales professional will develop new business for the company by calling on building owners, property managers, general contractors, and other commercial facility managers.  This will include both prospecting for new business as well as growing existing clients and relationships to maximize revenue.  While the company has a physical office in Boston, this role will be mostly based in the field, and have the flexibility to work from a home office.  As such, the person can live anywhere in and around the Boston Metro area.  In addition to selling, you will work directly with the Sales Manager to create and build sales and marketing plans for the region.  You will also attend trade shows and help to network and grow the company name.

Compensation in the position will include a strong base salary in the $60k-$80k range.  On top of this base salary will be a very lucrative commission package that will easily take you over the $100k range.  Perks and benefits will include paid holidays and vacation, car allowance, cell phone, business expenses paid, 100% company paid medical and dental coverage, 401K Plan and more.  Some of the firm’s top salespeople are earning over $200k.  Because of the residual nature of the repeat business, this is a real possibly as you get established and grow your book of business.

Requirements for this position include a strong background of business to business sales success.  Selling to the property managers in the commercial / multifamily market is a plus, but certainly not required.  The ideal sales background would be someone that has been successful both hunting for new business as well as building strong relationships to maximize ongoing business.  A Bachelors Degree is preferred, though not required.
