National Account Manager - National Leader in Commercial Building - Pacific Northwest - Base to $120k

  • Our client, a nationwide leader in the commercial roofing world, has an immediate need for a skilled National Accounts Sales Rep to handle national account development in their Pacific Northwest market.  Ideally the candidate will live in Seattle, WA. The company has a long track record of success as a leading commercial contractor, and a fantastic name in the industry.
  • In this role, the National Account Manager will be focused on growing and developing large commercial accounts that have national account potential.  This role will be a blend of going after new business and contacts as well as growing deep relationships within these large accounts so to land repeat national business.  The National Account Manager will also work with the company’s Territory Sales Reps and Project Managers throughout the region in order to generate additional leads. 
  • This company sells large commercial roofing projects to the end user. This is typically not new construction projects, but instead selling remodeling and roof replacements to the commercial and industrial sector. The type of companies you are selling to range from large industrial and manufacturing sites to hospitals, resorts, hotels, real estate, schools and more. This person will go after new business, thus they will need a hunter mentality. At the same time, they need to manage accounts after the sale, so they also need solid relationship building skills.

Compensation package will include a base salary in the $120k range, along with a very lucrative commission package that can easily take you well over the $200k level. Some of the best reps in this organization are making over $300k. If you are a top producer, and fit the specific background that is required for the role, there is a lot of flexibility to create a package that will work. In addition to the base salary and the commission package, the benefits are outstanding. A company car is provided, a brand new Ford F-150, in addition to a cell phone, laptop, client expense account, and an incredible healthcare package. There are some other nice perks provided in the package as well.

Required for the position is the following: Must have significant national account sales experience selling to a similar commercial end user customer base. This would be large commercial buildings with flat roofs. A background in the construction and / or commercial roofing industry is preferred.
