Marketing Specialist - Creative / Social Marketing - Growing Manufacturing Leader - Base to $55k

Our client, a growing and expanding industrial manufacturer, has an immediate need for a skilled Marketing and Sales Support Specialist to be based out of the Syracuse, NY corporate headquarters.

This company is strong and stable, with over 30 years of business in the region.  They are very well known in the market and have built a strong base of customers.  They represent some of the best industrial equipment and material handling product manufacturers in the industry.

For this Marketing and Sales Support Specialist role, our client is looking for a creative marketing specialist to join their expanding marketing team.  This person will be responsible for the overall brand awareness, new customer acquisition and customer engagement.  This role will ultimately combine creative and strategic marketing, e-commerce, social media management and digital media, as well as general sales team support.

Duties will include developing marketing strategy and implementing these plans designed to help increase business to business sales and sales lead for the team.  Creating content for e-mail, direct mail, blogs, the website and more.  This person will also manage and develop the company’s website which will include updating pages and upgrading the mobile versions.  This person will manage all of the social media platforms that will include Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and more.  They will also execute all of the paid social campaigns through the key social tools.  Lastly, they will support the sales team through sales lead and marketing metrics reporting.

In terms of compensation, this position will offer a base salary to around $55k.  Additionally, the benefits are very strong and include company sponsored healthcare, 401k with a company match, generous paid time off and more.

Requirements for this position will include a Bachelors Degree and at least 2 years of real world marketing experience.  Candidate should be a strong user of WordPress, MS Office and Salesforce.  They should also understand all of the current social media tools and platforms including Google AdWords, Facebook Ad Manager and Google Analytics.  Candidate should have experience in SEO analysis and optimization and experience with e-mail marketing.  Some graphics and/or photography experience is a plus, though not required.
