Manufacturers Representative - Industrial Product Manufacturer - Base to $85k + Bonus, Company car, Benefits. Albany, NY.

  • Our client, an international manufacturer of industrial connectors and assemblies, has an immediate need for a skilled Technical Manufacturers Representative (internally titled "Regional Sales Engineer") to be based out of the Albany, NY area.
  • Our client is an industry leader with a stellar reputation.  They have been in business for over 75 years and provide high-end connection solutions to various industrial markets around the globe.
  • In this role, the Sales Engineer will manage and grow key accounts in the Northeastern United States, while developing and maintaining relationships with new customers.  The Sales Engineer will work in customers and internal teams to develop engineered solutions and provide product information, recommendations, technical support, and exceptional customer service.  The Sales Engineer will be responsible for overall market penetration and market share growth in the Northeast.

Compensation: Will include a strong base salary up to $85k, plus a lucrative bonus structure.  The company also offers a company vehicle, laptop, cellphone, expense account, medical/dental/vision insurance, generous paid time off, and more.

Requirements:  The ideal candidate will possess a business or engineering degree and 3+ years of technical outside sales experience selling to OEM and Industrial markets. The candidate should have a proven track record of sales success and a strong mechanical aptitude.
