Inside Sales Rep / Business Development - Innovative Tech Product Manufacturer, Energy Sector, Rapidly Expanding - To $100k

  • Our client, an innovative technology product manufacturer based in Montreal, is rapidly expanding their inside sales team and has an immediate need for a skilled Inside Sales Professional.  The technology product that the Inside Sales Rep will be selling is an Energy related product that is designed to automate and regulate energy costs within the hotel industry.  This is strictly inside sales, done over the phone, and will involve selling to existing warm leads as well as cold calling for brand new business.
  • The company is a strong and well-established technology manufacture, in business for over 30 years.  Due to a very successful recent product launch, the company is expanding rapidly selling directly to the hotel and hospitality industry all throughout North America.  Their client list includes some of the largest names in the industry including Hilton, Marriott and more.  The work environment is fantastic, and typical of a rapidly growing high-tech business in today’s world.  The team has fun as this is a very competitive and exciting sales environment.  The team works together to motivate success, motivated by a strong Sales Leader on the team.  The sales area is anything but dull and boring!

 Compensation in this position will include a starting base salary in the $50k range.  On top of this base salary will be a lucrative commission package that will add up to another $50k in incentive earnings.  The company also offers an excellent benefits package.

Requirements: The ideal candidate for this role will have 3-10 years of experience in an inside sales role, ideally selling business to business.  There should be a history of hunting for new business, and a track record of success in closing new accounts over the phone.  Candidate should have excellent communications skills and an outgoing and competitive personality.  Experience in technology is a plus, but at minimum the candidate should have a strong interest in technology.  A college degree is not required for this role.
