Inside Sales Rep - National Brand Name Firm - Industry Leader, Award Winning Place to Work - Strong Base, Commission, Benefits
- Our client, a nationwide brand name leader in the insurance industry, and an award-winning place to work and build a professional career, has an immediate opening for an Inside Sales Rep. This role is a hybrid Inside Sales Rep and Customer Service Rep. This person will be based out of the company’s National Sales Center in Austin, TX. The position is part of an ongoing national expansion for the company as they strengthen their internal sales and customer support team. As you start in this program, the company offers an extensive internal training program to teach you the business and help you get licensed as a professional.
- As a member of this elite customer support team, the company needs a person that highly motivated to succeed, and that has a fantastic outgoing and dynamic personality. This person will have the desire to make the client number one and deliver a top product in the business world. The sales aspect of this role is NOT 100% cold calling. Much of the customer contact is made via warm leads and with a national name it makes the sale that much easier. In this role, the Rep will be tasked with cross-selling existing customers, generating rate quotes, providing excellent customer service and building ongoing relationships that result in consistent success.
Compensation for the role is a base salary to $35k plus a very aggressive commission structure in which the top reps can earn between $90k-$100k annually. The average Sales Rep will earn somewhere in the $50k-$70k range. On top of this base salary is a fantastic benefits package. These benefits will include medical, dental and vision, flexible spending account, generous paid time off, life insurance, 401k, pension plan and more.
Requirements for the position include 1-2 years of either sales or customer service experience, a real interest in working with people every day, the ability to pass all insurance license tests (company paid for) and ability to work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
