Industrial Sales Representative - Technical Product Manufacturer - HVAC Sector - Selling to Dealer Networks - Take over Existing Accounts - Base to $100k.  Los Angeles, CA.

  • Our client, an international leader in refrigeration and climate controls, is seeking a Senior Industrial Sales Representative (internally titled "Regional Sales Manager"-RSM) for the Western US market.  The territory will be a larger geographically, but the candidate will be based out of the Los Angeles market.
  • In this role, the Industrial Sales Representative will be responsible for:  Selling technical humidification products to new and existing dealer accounts; Focused on providing technical product information and recommendations, along with sales and product training to Dealer Representatives and Branch Managers.  In addition to directly selling in the market, the RSM will also assist and attend trade shows and industry events.  Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, this RSM will also be involved in assisting with strategic market and sales analysis that will help define growth and success in the region.
  • As this person will replace a very strong performing Territory Sales Manager, they will have the opportunity to take over a very well performing territory, and strong base of existing accounts.

Compensation for this position will include a base salary in the $80K-$100k range, plus a solid bonus and incentive plan.  This compensation structure is flexible for the ideal candidate.  The package will also include a car package, cell phone, laptop, travel and client expense account, full benefits and more.

Requirements:  In terms of the ideal education and experience, our client is looking for at least five years of Technical Sales/Account Management experience in the industrial/mechanical systems market.  The candidate should possess a 4-year degree or significant field experience with an industrial product focus.  Any HVAC/R experience is a plus, though not required.  Experience or membership in ASHRAE or ASME is a plus as well.
