Human Resources Manager - Manufacturing Plant - to 105k + Bonus. York, PA

  • Our client, a stable and growing national manufacturer of plastic packaging solutions is in need of a Plant Human Resources Manager in their York, PA facility.
  • In this role, the Plant HR Manager will oversee recruitment and retention, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training, payroll, compensation, safety and benefits in the plant.  The person for this role be responsible for the development and administration of HR policies and procedures, maintains and updates employee records, various reports, and provides employee coaching on work related matters. The Plant HR Manager understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality, GMP and company policies, procedures and recognized practices. This position will require a strong relationship with Plant Manager and Plant Leadership team to provide effective guidance and coaching relating to employee’s concerns, problems and disciplinary action to comply with company policies. The Plant HR Manager also serves as the contact with temporary labor agencies to schedule workers to meet daily production staff requirements and to process pay records, invoicing while addressing any issues regarding temporary workers. A few special projects may fall under this umbrella related to other function areas and related duties as assigned.

Compensation in this position will include a base salary of $95K-$105K with an annual bonus. The package will also include excellent benefits (medical, dental, vision), vacation package, 401K match, etc.

Requirements for this position include at least 5 years of onsite manufacturing HR experience and/or Bachelors Degree, but will consider working experience in lieu of a degree.  Candidate must be willing and able to travel as needed for business.
