Field Service Technician - Machinery Manufacturer - New England - Base Salary to $50k
- Our client, a leading manufacturer of metalworking machinery, CNC punch presses, laser cutting equipment, brake presses and more, is seeking a strong candidate for a Field Service Technician role based in the New England market.
- In this role, the Field Service Tech will serve as the company’s technical expert by providing strong customer service to the base of client’s during the new product installations. This will include testing and customer training as well. They will also perform service work on equipment at existing customers, working on-site at the customer location. The Tech will also provide technical support over the phone as needed. Role will involve reading blueprints, drawing, schematics, manuals and other specifications. Will be responsible for documenting machine data and service history. Will travel throughout the region as needs arrive at client locations.
Compensation for this position will include a solid base salary to around $50k, plus paid overtime and bonus potential. In addition, the company will provide a car allowance, travel expenses, full healthcare benefits, a 401k with a company match, tuition reimbursement, an excellent training program, paid time off and more.
Requirements for this position include a two year technical degree or the equivalent technical school / military training and industrial experience. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hands on electronic / assembly experience. Previous CNC fabrication machinery repair experience is a strong plus.
