Director of Sales - VP Level - Plastics - Cincinnati, OH - Base salary $120-$150K with Strong Bonus, Company Car, Full Benefits. Relocation Available
- Our client, a rapidly expanding International manufacturer in the Plastics Sector, has an immediate need for a skilled Director of Sales to help expand relationships and revenues for a specialty division based in Cincinnati, OH. The Director of Sales, reporting to the Specialty Division General Manager of the company, and as a member of the senior management team, will play a key role in devising and executing on the sales strategy that will increase revenue, expand market share, and drive brand awareness in current key channels and potential new channels. The Director of Sales will also provide direct and indirect leadership to the sales and marketing functions respectively.

- Position Details: The Director of Sales will manage and grow sales for this company. This person will work out of the Cincinnati, OH area. In addition to managing and expanding existing relationships within their sector, this person will also work to develop new prospects and customers, to expand market reach. In addition to the sales aspects of this position, this person will also play a critical role in leading the sales team. This role will serve as both an individual producer and key relationship builder as well as the Sales Leader, who will be a member of the senior management team, and serve as the company spokesperson at trade shows and industry events, key client meetings, and be the lead of all strategic development and channel development. This person will be involved in market research, setting sales strategies and more. This is a very exciting role for the right sales leader, with a very significant opportunity for career growth.
Compensation: The base salary offered will be between $120-$150K DOE and the bonus potential is up to an additional 50% of earnings. The package will also include a company vehicle, full benefits, retirement, and additional perks.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of sales success in the Plastics market, though similar verticals will be considered as well as a history of establishing and growing key customer accounts and relationships, and leadership experience. A Degree is required in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or similar technical degree, is highly preferable. This candidate will be handling a large territory and travelling throughout the USA, so ability to travel up to 50% is required.
