- Our client, a supplier of products and engineering services to both government and commercial customers worldwide has an immediate need for a full-time Design Group Manager. Focuses on the management of the CAD design department. Serves as the liaison with engineering, quality, purchasing and manufacturing.
- In this role, you will ensure design work on projects is properly staffed and completed on schedule and within budget. Develop, implement and enforce CAD standards. Provide mentoring, training and supervision of CAD users. Manage the design change control process. Serve as liaison with SolidWorks reseller on training, CAD support and resolution of technical issues.
Qualifications: Ability to organize teams and lead people. Manage departmental activities to achieve cost and schedule commitments. Proficient with SolidWorks. Estimate Design activity from customer requirements. Must possess five years of experience managing design data with PDM software. Working knowledge of ASME Y14.100 and Y14.5 standards.
Requirements: Must maintain U.S. Citizenship to hold a U.S. Government security clearance.
