What motivates you?
While I thoroughly enjoy achieving personal success on a winning team, I get equal satisfaction out of coaching and motivating others to help them reach their goals. That’s why I became a professional recruiter at AllSearch in the first place. Furthermore, besides being highly motivated, I am extremely competitive. I get fulfillment out of strategically developing and executing a plan that exceeds others expectations.
What do you do for fun?
My favorite thing to do when I’m not working is to spend time with my family, especially my daughters Vivienne and Sylvia. I also enjoy playing basketball, church softball and relaxing on the beach.
What’s the biggest compliment a client or candidate ever paid you?
I once had a potential customer say to me, “Wow! You really don’t give up, do you?” While this might not sound like your typical compliment, it was great to hear. It meant this person understood that I was serious, relentless and determined to earn their business. Best of all, they eventually became one of my largest customers.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I have always wanted to play in the NBA. Although I’m now in my 30s and past my basketball prime, I’m still waiting for that call. With the 76ers being so terrible, I might actually have a shot — at least in my dreams!
What one piece of advice would you give to your ten-year old self?
I have three pieces of advice. Be passionate about what you do. Tell your family and friends how much you love and appreciate them. Lastly, follow the Golden Rule: Treat others as you’d like to be treated.
