Customer Service Manager – Building Product Manufacturer - $80k - $100k+ - Relocation available – Fredericksburg, VA area
Our client, a leading manufacturer, has an immediate need for a Customer Service/Key Accounts Manager to work from its main production facility in the Fredericksburg, VA area. This is a unique opportunity that will allow the CSM to be a real “change agent” within the organization. In addition to implementing new and updated processes on the customer service side, this role will also act as the Key Accounts Manage for the company’s biggest customers. These customers are some of the largest and most well-known building products and flooring providers in the country.
This is a hybrid role that will have a major impact on the growth and performance of the company moving forward. Our client needs someone confident in their abilities in leadership and customer service as well someone not afraid to implement changes. The company will pay for relocation expenses for the right candidate.
Responsibilities: The CSM will help to develop and implement KPI and metrics systems in the customer service department, work closely with the sales and marketing teams to strategize customer retention plans and policies and lead a team of 10-12 customer service representatives and supervisors. In addition, the CSM will occasional meet with representatives from the company’s top customers to discuss ways for consistent improvement and effective partnerships strategies. There is minimal travel with this role(5%-10%), most of which will be to the second customer service location in Atlanta.
Compensation: On top of a strong benefits package offering medical, dental and vision plans, there is a solid salary associated with this role. The salary range is $80k - $100k but our client will strongly consider the right candidates with a higher salary requirement. The company will also pay relocation expenses for the right fit.
Requirements: Excellent customer service experience is a must. Experience leading a customer service team, working with KPI and metrics systems and from a manufacturing/production background are desired. Candidates must also be strong in face-to-face interaction and comfortable speaking with C-Level employees.
