Commercial Account Manager - Middle Market Insurance Accounts - Base to $100k + Excellent Benefits
Our client, a leading independent insurance agency in the Baltimore area, has an immediate opening for a skilled Commercial Lines professional for a key Middle Market Account Specialist. The person in this role will handle a $8 million dollar book of complex middle market generalist accounts. This is a very professional and lucrative role, with excellent career advancement opportunity.
Some specific duties in this role include:
- Managing assigned middle market accounts, analyzing for adequate and appropriate coverage.
- Preparing proposals for analysis and presentation.
- Reviewing endorsements for completion and accuracy.
- Marketing the account and reviewing marketing placements.
- Following on renewals.
- Identifying cross selling situations, helping to expand and round out existing accounts by finding gaps and recommending proper coverages.
Compensation includes a starting base salary in the $80k-$100k range, plus an excellent benefits package that will include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off and more.
Qualifications in this role include a Bachelors Degree along with 5+ years of experience handling complex middle market accounts. Candidate will need to have an active P&C license, and additional industry related credentials are strongly preferred.
