Assistant Sales Manager - Lead Team of Sales Reps - Leading Building Materials Company - Base+Bonus, Incentives, Benefits.Baltimore/Washington DC Area.

  • Our client, a leading dealer of building products, has an immediate need for an Assistant Sales Manager to be based out of the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area.
  • Our client is a regional leader in providing building materials, such as doors and millwork, from some of the industry’s top manufacturers.  Having been in business for over 100 years, they are a major presence up and down the East Coast.
  • In this role, the Sales Manager will be tasked with helping to lead a team of Territory Sales Reps from Baltimore down the the Outer Banks. They will help with strategically planning and implementing sales initiatives, set sales goals for direct reports, assess industry trends as well assist TSM’s with maintaining strong customer relationships, among other tasks. This is a remote position with the occasional need to report to the Maryland branch.

Compensation will include a strong base salary plus a bonus package based on performance.  First year total compensation expectation well into 6-figures. The company also offers a cell phone plan, laptop, medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO and more.

Requirements:  The ideal candidate will possess a background in management, selling in the construction or building materials verticals. The candidate should have a proven track record of successful leadership and outside sales experience.
