Our client, a strong commercial service based company headquartered in Denver, CO, has an immediate need for an Account Manager / Route Service Rep Trainee for their growing Service Team.
In this role, the role of the Account Manager / Route Service Rep is to professionally serve the needs of an established base of customers on a daily basis. These customers are typically in the manufacturing and industrial industry, but can also be restaurants, hospitality, healthcare organizations and more. The Account Manager will work to make timely product deliveries on a defined service route, they will work to build relationships and ensure customer retention, and they will provide excellent customer service. Some specific duties in the position include driving the company vehicles to deliver product, handling customer issues and complaints, renewing service contracts when needed, establish and grow the existing customer relationships, understanding products and billing, ensuring the company vehicle is well organized and clean, enforcing company policies and more.
As far as work schedule, this position is typically a Monday through Thursday role with Fridays off. You also have the flexibility to set your own schedule throughout the week, typically getting an earlier start to the day, thus finishing early as well. You will occasionally work a half day on Friday, but that is not mandatory. This a great work shift for someone that loves the outdoors, as you will have plenty of free time and not stuck working in a standard 8am-5pm shift.
Compensation in this position will include a base pay around $35k-$40k per year. In addition, the Route Service Rep will earn a bonus based on total sales volume in the assigned route. This bonus will typically take your total annual income into the $50k-$55k range. Outside of this, the company offers a fantastic benefits package that will include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, bonus pay and much more.
Requirements for the position include at least one year of delivery / route experience. The candidate should also have excellent customer service skills, and very good communications skills. The candidate will also need to have a clean driving record as well as a current driver’s license. Candidate should not be afraid of hard work as there is some physical aspects to this role.
