- Our client is a leading producer of roof and floor trusses, catering to contractors and engineers in Brookings, Oregon, and neighboring regions. Dedicated to quality, our client specializes in designing, manufacturing, and delivering top-notch trusses tailored to the unique requirements of every project.
- The Truss Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality structural components for both commercial and residential construction projects. The Truss Designer will work on designing innovative truss solutions using advanced software and collaborate closely with design professionals to meet our clients’ standards.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with designers to develop truss designs for single-family homes, multi-family residences, and commercial buildings.
- Develop CAD-based truss designs for various construction projects using Simpson design software.
- Accurately interpret blueprints to create detailed roof and floor trusses.
- Ensure designs are optimized for their specific applications and meet accuracy standards.
- Request and review sealed engineering drawings and provide on-site support as needed.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with Simpson design software or 3+ years with equivalent truss design software.
- Strong knowledge of wood framing, fasteners, and structural components.
Compensation:
- Base salary to 60k/year
