Our client, a worldwide building product manufacturer and distributor, with a major hub location just outside of Atlanta in the Northeast Atlanta Metro area, is looking for a strong candidate to enter in to their company’s exclusive Territory Sales Trainee Program.
Compensation for this position includes a starting base salary in the $40k+ range, plus a solid bonus and incentive plan. In addition, the benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, Drug insurance, paid vacation and holidays, 401k with a company match and more.

This is role is open due to a previous trainee being promoted in to a full Territory Sales role within 6 months of starting in the Trainee program. In the Territory Sales Trainee role, you will be groomed to be promoted into a more advanced Territory Sales position with this company within 6-18 months. As this is a sales focused training program, you will start in a sales and account management role, being mentored directly by the VP of Sales. As a member of this training program, you will learn all about their business and their sales process, and will be working directly with everyone from the Inside Sales Management to Regional Sales Managers to their VP of Sales. You will learn about their customers and what they do. You will learn how they manage their clients, how they sell their products, and how they do just about everything in the branch. As this is a hands-on training program, you will be involved in day to day account management and inside sales tasks, as well as projects as assigned by the Manager. This is strictly business to business sales. As they are a manufacturer, their products are sold to small and large retailers and lumber yards such as Home Depot stores, 84 Lumber and more. So the type of sales contacts that you will call on will be purchasing people, buyers and front line managers within this retail sector.
Requirements for this position are a Bachelors Degree and 0-2 years of experience in a sales related role, inside or outside sales. Recent college graduates will also be considered.
