Our client, a nationwide leader in the commercial roofing world, has an immediate need for a skilled Territory Sales Rep to handle a strong territory in the South Florida market. The company has a long track record of success as a leading commercial contractor, and a fantastic name in the industry.
In this role, the Territory Sales Rep will be selling large commercial roofing projects to the end user. This is typically not new construction projects, but instead selling remodeling and roof replacements to the commercial and industrial sector. The type of companies you are selling to range from large industrial and manufacturing sites to hospitals, resorts, hotels, real estate, schools and more. This person will go after new business, thus they will need a hunter mentality. At the same time, they need to manage accounts after the sale, so they also need solid relationship building skills.
Compensation package will include a strong base salary, flexible depending upon experience, along with a very lucrative commission package that can easily take you well over the $100k level. Some of the best reps in this organization are making over $200k. If you are a top producer, and fit the specific background that is required for the role, there is a lot of flexibility to create a package that will work. In addition to the base salary and the commission package, the benefits are outstanding. A company truck is provided, a brand new Ford F-150, in addition to a cell phone, laptop, client expense account, and an incredible healthcare package. There are some other nice perks provided in the package as well.
Required for the position is the following: Must have experience selling to a similar commercial end user customer base. This would be large commercial buildings with flat roofs, calling on mechanical, maintenance or engineer staff. Must have experience selling a larger capital project, where the value is large and the sales cycle is longer. Lastly, not required, though a large plus, would be to have a strong background in commercial roofing sales.
