Our client, a large national distributor of both commercial and residential building products, has an immediate need in their Atlanta market for a Territory Sales Rep to sell both their commercial and residential roofing products to the contractor market.
The company is a major player in the region, and is growing very rapidly. Because of the company’s name in the market, and long track record of success, you will be able to very successfully build new customers and retain and grow long term customers. Additionally, with the strong growth of the company, you will have a fantastic opportunity to build and develop your sales career, and your income. With the uncapped commission plan that is in place, top earning Reps in this region are earning up to $160k annually.
In terms of the role, a Territory Sales Rep for this company will be focused on selling both commercial and residential roofing products to the contractor base in the Northern Georgia market. Ideally, this candidate will be based in Atlanta. While there is a couple of branch locations in that market, the candidate can also be set up to work the territory from a home based office. In this role, you will take over an existing base of customers, where your role will be to grow and develop stronger relationships with this base of business in order to maximize revenue. In addition, there will be a strong focus on new business generation, going after both commercial and residential contractors in the assigned territory.
Compensation for this position will include a base salary in the $50k-$60k range. For an experienced candidate with a strong current background and customer base in commercial roofing, our client can negotiate higher on the base salary. In addition, this package includes an uncapped commission package that can be very lucrative. Some of the more experienced Reps in the Georgia market are earning up to around $150k in this same role. Requirements for this position include at least two years of commercial or residential roofing sales experience selling to any type of customer, or selling other building products (non-roofing) to the contractor market. Candidate should have a strong understanding of the Atlanta and Northern Georgia market. A Bachelors Degree is preferred, though not required.
