Territory Sales Rep for Leading Industrial Company in Colorado Spring, CO. Outside Sales, Business Development. Base $50k + strong commission.

Our client, a strong and well established business service based business headquartered in Colorado, has an immediate need for a skilled Sales Professional to join their team in their Colorado Springs Region. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established sales professional looking for a solid outside business to business sales career with a great company. The incoming Sales Rep will be able to learn the industry and develop by working directly with the long time Sales Director who has been with the company for over 15 years. In this role, the Territory Sales Rep will be trained and developed to help build the company's revenues by selling their business services to potential businesses all over the region. This would include small and large businesses, with a strong focus in the industrial business sector. This position focuses on new business sales as there is a heavy focus on new business generation and hunting for new customers. The successful candidate will work closely with and answer directly to the company's Sales Director in developing and implementing new growth strategies.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary in the $52k-$55k range plus a strong commission package. Then your base salary will also increase as you reach certain promotion points. Regarding the commission, a good performing Sales Rep for the company will usually earn commission fairly quickly, and can expect to be in the $70k-$80k range in the first year. Top achievers can certainly earn in the $80k-$90k. The company also offers an excellent benefits package, a strong car allowance of $550 per month, cell phone, medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation and more. There will also be performance based bonuses on occasion.

As far as growth, you will have the opportunity to grow in both responsibility and income significantly as you have success on the team. This company is not the typical stuffy corporate environment. This is a smaller, private, locally headquartered company with around 150 total employees. However, they are extremely stable as they have been in business and serving the business market in Colorado Springs, Colorado for nearly 50 years. You are not just one of hundreds of sales reps on a team. Instead, you will be a key player on a strong and well supported team. Thus, you should be a person that would prefer to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond.

Requirements include a Bachelors Degree, a competitive and aggressive personality, and a desire to grow a career in outside sales. A candidate should have between 2-10 years of sales and business experience.
