Territory Outside Sales Rep / Account Manager - Innovative Technical Product Manufacturer. Plumbing Supply. Texas Territory. Base to $55k.

Our client, a very innovative and cutting edge international plumbing product manufacturer, has an immediate need for a skilled Account Manager to handle their Austin, Texas territory.  This account manager will establish relationships with a large base or retail / distribution accounts in the territory, and then manager and grow those relationships to increase sales in the market.  The company is a fantastic place to work, and manufacturers a fantastic innovative product that is rapidly growing in the market.  This is a very exciting time to get involved in the company.  And while strong and stable, this is not a huge company where you are just a number.  This is a good solid privately owned company that has a great culture, and that will offer you an opportunity to have a real impact on the success of the organization.  The ideal candidate will be based in either Houston, TX, San Antonio, TX or Austin, TX and will work out of a home based office.  The territory will include the entire state of Texas, and then will also include some of the surrounding area as well.  This position will report to that National Account Manager. 

The role will handle both new business tasks, as well as maintaining and growing the existing and growing base of accounts in the market.  This person will also participate in industry trade shows in order to network and grow contacts in the market.  While selling primarily to their wholesale distribution partners, this person will also have some communication with contractors in the industry as well.  Ultimately, this candidate will be groomed and trained as a technical product expert, so they are able to understand and advise customers on product selection, specifications, installations and more. 

Required for this position is at least 1-3 years of outside sales experience.  The ideal industry background will include sales experience and knowledge of the plumbing supply industry.  A Bachelors Degree is preferred though not required for this role.  Also required will be travel throughout the state of Texas. 

The compensation package for this position is very strong and all inclusive.  The position will pay a solid base salary in the $45k-$55k range.  This is flexible depending on experience.  On top of the base salary will be a strong bonus package.  The benefits include a company car, a company paid medical, dental and vision plan, a solid 401k plan with a 100% company, 3+ weeks of paid time off annually in addition to 10 paid holidays.
