Territory Sales Rep for Market Leading Construction Materials Manufacturer. Base to $85k. Take over existing high performing outside sales territory. 

Our client, a leading construction product manufacturer here in North America, has an immediate need for a skilled Territory Sales Rep to handle their Southern Louisiana market.

Company Info:  This company is very much of a market leader in their construction product line.  They are a direct manufacturer with multiple plant locations all over the United States.  They have been in business for many years, and remain strong and stable.  They are very focused on offering employees the opportunity to grow and develop internally.

Position Info:  In this role, the Territory Sales Rep will take over in an existing, well performing territory.  They will work to develop new accounts for the company, as well as maintain and build upon the existing relationships already in the market.  The territory will handle the Southern Louisiana Region which could expand slightly outside of that specific area.  This is a remote territory, so home location is a bit flexible, but the ideal home location would be in or around New Orleans, LA.  In addition to driving revenue, the TSR will work with the District Manager in strategic planning, budget setting and more.  They will also attend trade shows and network in the market, in order to establish themselves as an expert in the industry.  This role will include selling to end users and job sites as well as distributors and other manufacturers in this space.

Compensation:  This position includes a solid base salary in the $70k-$85k range, plus a bonus that will add another 15% or so on top of the base salary.  This will also include a company car, cell phone, laptop and a top notch benefits package.

Requirements:  The ideal candidate will have 3-10 years of sales experience in the construction materials industry.  They will have a Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering.
