Territory Sales Representative for leading national Building Product Manufacturer. Base to $55k, Bonus, Car, Benefits. Boston/Rhode Island Region.

Our client, a strong and well-established building product manufacturer, has an immediate need for a skilled Territory Sales Rep for their Boston and Rhode Island Region.

In this role, this Territory Sales Rep will sell a key construction product to the construction contractor market as well as directly to large commercial and industrial building owners.  Working the territory in a remote, work from home situation, the Territory Sales Rep will take over in a well performing market, reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager in the Northeast.  The duties will include both taking over and developing the existing relationships in their network of contractors, but also to aggressively hunt for new potential customers as well.

In terms of the company, this is a long-standing leader in their segment of the construction and building products industry.  They have been manufacturing their product line for over 40 years, and continue to grow and expand today.  The company has a fantastic reputation and history, and offers a great place to work and grow in a sales career.

The compensation in this position will include a very solid base salary in the $40k-$50k range, as well as a solid bonus program that should add another $10k on top of the base salary.  Also included will be a competitive car allowance, cell phone and laptop.  The comprehensive benefits package will include a medical, dental and vision, prescription plan, life insurance, 401k with a company match, paid vacation and holidays, a profit sharing plan and more.

Requirements for this position include a Bachelors Degree in business or a related field.  The ideal background would be 1-3 years of business to business sales experience in the construction / building products industry, ideally coming from a role that focused on selling to the contractor market.  The company will also consider a recent college graduate with a degree in something construction based, that has a strong desire to grow in business to business sales.
