Territory Sales Manager – Building Products Manufacturer - Base Salary to 90k/year – Dallas, TX

  • Our client is an industry-leading company specializing in composite building material products that are energy efficient and sustainable for the high-growth commercial building industry. For three years, they have made the Inc. 5000 list as one of the country's fastest-growing privately held companies. Their goal is to empower individuals who are detail driven and can successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment to join their growing team.
  • Currently they are looking for a Territory Sales Manager for their DFW market. The position requires accountability for responsibilities to include assisting with developing sales strategies, tactics, and action plans, where successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve the company’s financial targets and goals. Some of the duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships, and understanding customer trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas provided by the organization.
  • Travel throughout North Texas and Oklahoma and present to customers and potential customers’ facilities providing them with information and support as required to secure business.
  • Evaluate area performance against established objectives/guidelines (sales forecast, budget, number of new accounts, etc.) and take appropriate action to improve performance.
  • Daily In person and virtual power point presentations; training will be provided.
  • Communicate customer requirements and request support from other departments as necessary to assist in achieving established objectives.
  • Ability to travel throughout territory including overnight travel to support customer needs.
  • Provide accurate forecast of sales on a timely basis.
  • Assure that sales activities in the area comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in establishing sales objectives for area.
  • Assist in developing an area coverage plan, which defines the type of support and frequency of customer contact required to meet territory goals.
  • Provide timely reporting of activities in the field and special reporting to assist in business and product planning ·
  • Maintain sales activity daily in our CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years field sales experience in the Texas sales market required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/Marketing or equivalent selling experience
  • Ability to drive the sales process from inception to close.
  • Able to articulate distinct aspects of products and services.
  • Successfully position products against competitors.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, organization, and communication skills.

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 75k – 90k/year range, dependent on experience.
  • Uncapped Commission
