Shipping Supervisor – Meat Processing – Base Salary to 80k/year – Omaha, NE
- Our client is privately owned and operated meat processing plant serving both domestic and international markets. With the recent purchase of their first acquisition, there are big growth plans for the organization.
- Our client is looking to add Shipping Supervisor to the warehouse team, for their 2nd shift operations. The Shipping Supervisor would be responsible for overseeing day to day operations of the shipping department, supervising a team of warehouse and shipping employees, as well as coordinating outgoing loads to ensure guidelines are being met while paying close attention to timing, quality, and overall costs.
Responsibilities:
- Adheres to shipping specification requirements throughout the manufacturing process to maintain desired results
- Directs employees to ensure order fulfillment and inventory accuracy
- Maintains accurate inventory levels within the department
- Ensures tasks are completed in accordance with USDA and HACCP regulations
- Manages Waste Water Treatment facility
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience working in shipping/warehouse department within a manufacturing environment; plus for food or meat processing background
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience overseeing production employees
- Working knowledge of proper food storage within the industry
- Ability to work in a fast pasted environment bringing an overall good work ethic to the team
- Practices servant leadership
- Ability to lead problem solving and troubleshooting efforts
- Familiarity with MS Office and various Inventory Management Systems; plus for experience with Carlisle Technology
- Must be able to work in varying production environments – extreme heat and cold
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 80k/year plus discretionary bi-annual bonus

About Me:
I was born and raised in York, Pa. I completed my freshman year of college at Towson University. I soon realized Astronomy was not my thing, so I transferred back home to York College to pursue a career in Business. I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Marketing. I chose AllSearch because it felt like home. What I do in my free time?
My dad and I brew beer! My dream one day is to open up a brewery with him. If I’m not doing that, I am either reading about conspiracy theories, spending money at Target, or playing with my dog—those are really my only hobbies.
Piece of advice I would give myself?
Always remember money can’t buy happiness; but it can buy you a boat, which would probably make you a little happy. Piece of advice number two: it’s the little things in life that make it worth wild.
What I typically eat for breakfast?
Cereal. There is no argument there here, Frosted Flakes are the best.
