Sales Rep Training Program for 50 Year stable National Construction Equipment Company based in Syracuse, NY. Multiple locations, promotion paths.

Our client, a strong and stable construction equipment dealer has an immediate need for an entry level Sales Rep Trainee to join the team Syracuse, NY market.

This company is strong and stable, with over 50 years in business.  They are very well known in the market and have built a strong base of customers.  This program is a "hands-on" position where you will be introduced to all facets of their business and sales processes. You will gain credibility and learn extensive product knowledge in a short period of time.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary in the $35k range. In addition, the benefits are solid and will include a full health, dental and vision insurance, a 401k plan and more.


  • Establish and develop new business as well as increase and grow current business, through all means available including prospecting, cold calling, networking, telemarketing, and referrals.
  • Meeting and exceeding designated goals for prospecting and activity
  • Following up with customers on a timely basis to provide the highest level of customer service
  • Maintaining a high level of contact with top customers.


  • 4 year college degree.
  • 1 - 2 years experience selling a product or service preferred, but will take a recent college grad with aggressive profile.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
