Regional Sales Rep. Business Development for Construction Materials Manufacturer. Southeast. New Business & Client Education. Base to $80k. Total to $110k.
Our client, a strong and growing construction product manufacturer, has an immediate need for a skilled Regional Sales Rep to be based out of the Southeast area. This Regional Sales Rep will be selling a niche construction material that is targeted to the concrete industry. While this candidate will handle a larger territory that will include the Southeast and larger, the ideal home location will be Atlanta, GA, Nashville, TN or Chattanooga, TN.
Our client is a strong national company that manufacturers multiple different lines of construction and building products. This particular Regional Sales Rep will focus on a niche product that is sold to cement contractors and cement manufacturers. This person will be trained and developed as a product line expert. Duties in the role include calling on this market segment, establishing relationships with potential distribution channels, building owners, engineers, contractors and government contacts in order to expand the product line nationally. This role will focus on hunting for new business and growing larger accounts. In addition, the Regional Sales Rep will work with installers to educate them on the product line, develop specifications for various industries and help in the bidding process, and work trade shows for leads. This position will report to that National Sales Manager.
The Regional Sales Rep has the opportunity to grow and expand in to a National Sales role as you continue to have success. There is a huge growth potential in this product line.
Compensation in this position will include a base salary in the $70k-$80k range plus a bonus that will add $20k-$30k on top of the base salary. Total compensation will fall into the $100k-$110k range. In addition, the offer will include a monthly car allowance, travel and client expense allowance, a company cell phone and laptop. The package will also include full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K with a company match, paid vacation, profit sharing and much more.
Requirements for this position include a Bachelors Degree plus 3-5 years of successful outside sales experience. The ideal candidate will come from the construction, concrete or building materials industry. Candidate should have a solid track record of handling a larger territory, be comfortable with travel, and enjoy hunting for new business.
