Regional Sales Rep with 30 Year Stable Industrial Product Manufacturer in Atlanta, GA. Strong Base Salary to $65k, Commission, Car, Fantastic Benefits.
Our client, an industrial safety product manufacturer with multiple locations throughout the country, has an immediate need for a skilled Regional Sales Rep to handle a territory that will cover Atlanta, GA through Birmingham, AL. They are a very stable company and have been in business for over 30 years. They have a good strong name and reputation in the industry. You will be selling for a market leader.
In this role, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for enhancing and growing better relationships and sales revenue from existing distributors in the territory, as well as hunting for new distributor opportunities as well. The company sells their own product line, selling the product to distributors in the industry. The Regional Sales Rep will serve as a product expert, also helping the distributor reps effective sell product to the end users. A typical week will have the Rep out in the field four days a week, working directly with the distributor customers or helping to educate the end user customers.
In addition, the Regional Sales Rep will do product training for distributors, present and negotiate new deals, analyze customer data and work to build strategic sales plans for the market, update and maintain customer information in the sales database, and more. This role is remote, field based regional sales role. The candidate will work from a home-based office, so there is no commuting into a company office on a daily basis.
The position offers a starting base salary of $65k, plus a lucrative commission package that will add another $10k-$15k on top of the base. The benefits are solid and will include a car allowance, cell phone, laptop, expense account, medical, dental, 401k, paid time off and more.
Requirements for this position include at least three years of outside sales experience, preferably selling industrial or safety products to an industrial and/or manufacturing customer base. Should have a solid background in hunting for new business. Candidate will have a very competitive personality.
