Regional Sales Manager - Commercial Building Product Manufacturer - Midwest - To 110k
Regional Sales Rep Needed in Chicago. Base to $80k, Total Comp to $110k. With a Commercial Building Product Manufacturer.
Our client, a strong commercial flooring product manufacturer, has an immediate need for a skilled Regional Sales Professional for their Midwest Region, to be based out of Chicago. This position is open with the company due to strong growth and expansion. The company is a very strong and stable manufacturer of products that offer a commercial flooring solution for their customers. They have been in business for nearly 30 years, and have a national presence.
This position is a Regional Sales Manager to take over their existing Midwest Region. A good bulk of the customer base will be in a 100-mile radius of Chicago. This is already a well performing territory, and has been for many years. As such, the person who assumes this position will take over all of the existing accounts. At the same time, the company is looking for someone that has an interest in growing and expanding the market, thus focusing on new client developing, hunting and prospecting in the region. This position will focus on finding and maintaining business through distributors, but also working with the contractor market as well. The RSM will also attend trade show and supplier events when needed.
While this person will cover much the Midwest, much of the core area will be in and around Chicago, with a some contacts in Madison and Milwaukee as well. There is no physical office in that region, so you will be set up with a home based office. You won’t have to worry about commuting in to an office on a daily basis. The ideal home location would be central to Chicago.
As far as compensation goes, the base salary will be in the $70k-$80k range as well as a $30k annual bonus, paid multiple times during the year. So total compensation will fall in the $100k-$110k range. On top of this, the company will pay a strong car allowance plus gas expenses, cell phone, laptop, client meals and expenses, and any other business travel costs as well.
