Regional Sales Manager. Acute Care / Hospital Market. Company is a York, PA Manufacturer of Capital Equipment. Base $100k. Total Comp $150k+.
Our client, a strong and well established manufacturer based in York, PA, has an immediate need for a Regional Sales Manager to pilot a new program, expanding their business line and product line into the acute care / hospital vertical within the healthcare industry. This is an exciting opportunity to grow a start-up, develop and grow a new division within the company, starting as an individual sales producer, and then ultimately growing into a true Sales Manager, hiring and training a sales team.
This is a very exciting role with a well-known company in the industry. This role will combine the excitement and challenge of a start-up, with the strong stability of a long time industry leader in their market, and company and culture that is well developed and extremely successful over the past 30 years.
In this role, the Regional Sales Manager would be selling a non-technical capital equipment product line to the hospital market, targeted large leading hospitals and healthcare groups. This would be a national sales role, as the company has a nationwide reach.
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone that has sold a line of capital equipment or large product sales to the hospital market. This would not be someone selling consumables, but true large ticket capital products and/or equipment. The successful candidate would have to have experience with longer sales cycles and someone that ideally has an existing base of national contacts within this market already established. Other requirements, in addition to the sales experience, would be someone that has the traits to ultimately become a true leader.
The compensation in this position will include a base salary in the $100k range, with flexibility to go higher for the right candidate, who has existing contacts and success in this market vertical. The package will also include a lucrative commission package, and ultimately overrides on their sales team’s performance and success. The company will provide a strong car allowance, cell phone, laptop, all travel and client expenses, and a full and comprehensive benefits package.
