Outside Sales Trainee - Strong Base - Leading Denver Company

Our client, a strong and well established business service based business serving the Denver market, has an immediate need for an Entry Level Sales Professional to join their team in their Denver Region. This territory will include areas in and around the greater Denver, CO marketplace. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inexperienced sales professional to grow a strong outside business to business sales career with a great company.

The incoming Sales Associate will be able to learn and develop under the long time Sales Manager who has been with the company for over 15 years. In this role, the Associate will be trained and developed to help build the company's revenues by selling their business services to potential businesses all over the region. This would include small and large businesses, with a strong focus in the industrial business sector. This position focuses on new business sales as there is a heavy focus on new business generation and hunting for new customers. The successful candidate will work closely with and answer directly to the company's Sales Manager in developing and implementing new growth strategies. The initial duties in this role will combine both inside and outside sales tasks, with the goal to ultimately grow into a full Outside, Territory Sales Rep role.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary in the $40k-$45k range plus a strong bonus and commission package. Once you are promoted out of the Trainee position into a full Territory Sales Rep role, your base salary will increase to the $52k-$55k range, and a very lucrative commission package that will easily take you to the $70k+ range. The company also offers an excellent benefits package, a strong car allowance of $550 per month, cell phone, medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation and more. There will also be performance based bonuses on occasion.

As far as growth, you will have the opportunity to grow in both responsibility and income significantly as you have success on the team. This company is not the typical stuffy corporate environment. This is a smaller, private, locally headquartered company with around 150 total employees. However, they are extremely stable as they have been in business and serving the business market in Denver, Colorado for nearly 50 years. You are not just one of hundreds of sales reps on a team. Instead, you will be a key player on a strong and well supported team. Thus, you should be a person that would prefer to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond.

Requirements include a Bachelors Degree, a competitive and aggressive personality, and a desire to grow a career in outside sales. Recent college graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. A history in anything competitive such as college athletics is a plus.
